Direct to stud installation eliminates the need for extra expensive substrates to adhere the claddings to. It’s a very clean system that is unaffected by stops/slowdowns in wet and freezing climates.

It is the affordable solution to enjoying the beauty of stone without the high cost. It's fast and simple. The ease of the SmartClip system makes it perfect for the competent DIY builder or renovator.
HERES HOW IT WORKS?
All EcoSmart Stone, FibreCLAD and TechStone cladding panels are factory grooved to accommodate the vertical and horizontal alignment joiners. These slot into each SmartClip and each stone panel ensuring all stone is perfectly aligned without continual leveling checks.
As long as the wall studs are all level then all facing will remain aligned. These should be checked for level before installation commences. In the event the studs are not level then you will need to pack out the SmartClip brackets accordingly.
Care must be taken to ensure the full length bottom rail is level and true as this is the decider for the true alignment of the complete finished job.
All grooves and alignment joiners should have the adhesive applied before the placement of the each stone panel to ensure a completely waterproof cladding facade.
