Recent high rise building fires in Melbourne and Dubai had already resulted in many investigations into the safety of cladding materials in buildings above five stories. Subsequent to the deaths of so many in the disastrous UK Grenfell fire (see here) the industry is about to be strictly regulated. After the Melbourne fire (see here) legislation is being changed to mandate replacement on the Lacrosse building and many others since identified with similar cladding materials. After fires in Dubai (see here) they are also undergoing full investigations to ensure that the fire potential is similarly eliminated.
